Xerox® Phaser® 3635MFP
vs. Lexmark® X466de More intuitive color touch screen
The Phaser 3635MFP and Lexmark X466de both feature a color touch screen, but that’s where the similarities end. The Phaser 3635MFP presents commonly used features on the main screen so performing routine tasks can be accomplished faster and easier than with the Lexmark device.
For example, ID Card Copy can be accessed directly from the Phaser 3635MFP device’s home screen, whereas the Lexmark device requires excessive scrolling to perform the same task. Other Phaser 3635MFP usability advantages include scan-to-email, which allows users to choose a recipient from a local address book instead of requiring users to search for contacts as with the Lexmark device. In addition, Lexmark’s touch- screen has a delayed response of several seconds, which adds up quickly as workteams share the device.

Scan templates
The Phaser 3635MFP employs scan templates that allow users to scan images to predefined locations. Templates are created with CentreWare Internet Services and permanently stored on the device for convenient, touch-screen access.
By contrast, the Lexmark X466 incorporates web-based scan profiles that are available only for the duration of the web browser session, making them impractical to share. This effectively limits its use as an office pro- ductivity booster as users must recreate new scan profiles each time they close a browser or reboot the computer.
